For Retail Shops
Point of Sale Printing and Displays have long been a specialist product for Colourbox. For 12 years we have been supplying the retail industry with posters, hanging banners, lightboxes, showcards and other innovative ideas.
Retailers have always turned to Colourbox for niche products normally unavailable from other printing companies. Of particular interest have been our: Window Graphics - Self adhesive clear vinyl graphics printed in reverse and applied to the inside of shop or showroom or office windows. These are protected from graffiti and allow outsiders to still partly see through to the merchandise inside but have all the benefits and attractiveness of full colour graphics. Fabric Banners - These are dye-sublimation printed images onto beautiful fabrics such as silky satin or see-through voile and are ideally suited to window displays and instore imagery. They have been a big hit with the fashion retailers nicely complementing their own clothing fabrics. Other retailers with classy products such as jewellery and motor vehicles have also found the satin banners to appropriately complement the image they are trying to portray. Too often paper posters are damaged during transport and installation by shop staff and the creases and curling edges do more harm than good to the retailer's image. Colourbox fabric banners remove this problem and in turn impress upon the customer a high level of class and quality. Mounted Posters - By far one of the best ways to display retail graphics is to have posters printed first onto photographic papers or self-adhesive vinyls and then laminate the image with a nice satin or matt finish and mount onto a board. Our recommended boards are either palite or ultramount both of which are light and easy to hang or install with velcro or into an existing or new Colourbox frame. Mounted posters always have a perfectly flat finish avoiding degradation due to handling creases or curling. Finesse Frames - An innovative frame designed to achieve a number of benefits and solve a number of problems. Firstly the Finesse Frame is designed for a dye-sublimation printed fabric graphic. This is ideal as the images do not crease when transported or mishandled during installation. The frame is designed in such a way that only about 2mm of anodised aluminium frame is actually seen. This produces a very subtle but classy silver edge to the poster eliminating the bulky look of frames from days gone by. By installing the fabric image in a Finesse Frame there is no longer any curling on the edges of the posters. The biggest benefit of all to the Finesse Frame is the fact that the frame itself is purchased only once and from that point on the fabric printed graphic only is replaced. Colourbox keeps a record of the size of your frame and a new image is couriered to you without risk of damage to the poster for very simple and quick installation into the existing frame. Lenticulars - Many retailers have heard of Lenticulars but have never known how to go about getting them. Colourbox has been producing large format lenticulars for retailers since 1998 and can offer an inhouse service with this innovative point of sale product. In addition to the poster size lenticulars we are now pleased to be able to offer a very cost effective promotional lenticular in smaller format and higher volume. These will be particularly useful for either catalogue covers or promotional postcards for sending to your customers with either advertising or as an innovative invitation to an event . Our 3D or Flip or Animation Lenticulars add a real class to your image. In case you thought lenticulars were beyond your budget here is a price guide. 5000 lenticular postcards for $5,000. Lightboxes - Many retailers have installed lightboxes into their retail shops but not every printer is capable of getting the best looking image from a lightbox. There is a skill to combine the right printer, the right stock, the right inks, the right profiles to make a lightbox image leap to life. Colourbox produces prints suitable for lightboxes on a backlit film. This involves custom profiling to ensure the image is not washed out when installed with fluorescent tubes behind the backlit image. Too often we see circumstances where these have been produced using dye inks instead of pigment or solvent based inks and depth of colour is not achieved, fading starts within just a few months and severe posterising of the image occurs. Again this is something Colourbox is very experienced with and guarantee an excellent long-lasting lightbox image with plenty of punch and fantastic skin tones. |
