Colourbox has been involved in some ground breaking new applications for its dye sub printing technology.  We are now able to print into a range of flooring products suitable for commercial use, retail or exhibition displays.  These range from a portable carpet tile 1m x1m to a fully imaged carpet.

This children's playground carpet involved Colourbox taking a number of photographs of a Piha Beach scene photoshopping them together and then printing into large tiles and having a carpet layer mount them to a 30mm thick safety rubber matting.  The appearance is a vibrant West Coast image of sand including footprints, waves and grass.  It actually feels like the beach when walking on it.

These lino floor tiles at 900mmx900mm each were printed to give the impression of a dock for Events Clothing Trade Show display that was taken to the Monaco Boat Show.  In the words of Owen Rutter of Events Clothing who was marketing their new clothing products for Race and Super Yacht owners we would have been quite happy to come home after day 1 of the show the enquiry on our stand was that strong.  The Colourbox Finesse Frames were also used for the walls of the display stand.
